To demonstrate the power of price transparency (or in this case
salary transparency) just look at the stats reported in
today's Daily Mail on the decision by West Virginia's State Auditor, Glen Gainer to publish on the
West Virginia State Auditor's website the compensation of each of West Virginia's 65,000 employees.
According to the article the website received over 1 Million visitors over a two day period last week. That's one hit for every two residents of West Virginia. WOW!
Another great example of the transparency that can occur when public information is really made public through easily accessible means.
